The Special Political and Decolonization Committee which is also known as SPECPOL is the fourth of the six main committees which are present in the United Nations General Assembly. The committee mainly focuses on addressing politic and decolonization issues and also provides a platform for Member States to solve issues related to disarmament and international security.
We have two unique agenda items for the delegates to discuss upon. The first agenda item is the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict which is a geopolitical saga that dooms the Middle Eastern countries for decades. In the second agenda item, we dig right into the effects of atomic radiation which is an issue that arises from nuclear accidents, weapons testing or the mistakes in the use of atomic energy. As we discuss through these two important agendas, we highly encourage the delegates to engage in different dialogues in order to find solutions for a better world.
